Yes that is a good thought. My 425 makes about 1kw with 20 watts or so.

hello all,

i have a titan 425 that was returned by tentec ( 700 dollar
repair bill) with a clean bill of health ( had a wafer switch replaced) when taken out of the box the amplifier will only make 1000 watts pep with 100 watts of drive. i use to make 1000 watts with 20 watts worth of drive. thought a tube got damaged. replaced with new eimacs and it does the exact same thing. any ideas on what could be wrong? this is the second and last time i will use
tentec. not a good experience.

where should i start?
