I have heard from others that 9913 fails when used as a rotor loop.
This is the only advantage I can see of the more flexible variety.
My solution to the 9913 problem has been to switch to RG-214 (Double
Braid Silver Plated, otherwise like RG-213) for the rotor loop.
For higher bands (2M & up) and long runs up the mast and out the
boom, I switch back to 9913.
