Not everyone bashing the "new rules" sentiment is on the
East Coast. I agree with the N2AA, N3RS and KK7A.
They have got it right.
If you don't like the rules, you don't have to play. One thing
many of you seem to forget about DX contests is that they
are just that, "DX Contests". Ya'll getting too tied up in
what is happening here. That good ole' "Ugly
American syndrome".

Here are the results of the summer contest (so far):
Copper-weld 2 lawnmower 0
(considerable time to unwind the lawnmower to get the copper-weld off)
Rotor-cable 0 lawnmower 1
The nylon weed wacker and cable, etc seem to be tied,
as the weed wacker won't cut the cable before I can let off the throttle.
And some of you are worried about who's calling CQ CQ CQ and GAS & SOUP.
The real contest is keeping them up. Have fun
