Hi Tom, get a hold of Randy, N0HJZ. He makes a series of
portable masts that are meant to be used in VHF Rover
installations. I am not sure about how they mount, but
I am sure he can fill in the details for you.
I believe the masts are also sold commercially by AES or
HRO and the like.

I have few question about the coming contest in the last week end of
october, because this is my first time I will join this contest.
1- do I need to send any thing to CQ before I join the contest?
2- It's important to have member ship in the ARRL or not important? and if
it's important
