I do agree. And I have started rebuilding my contest calendar to reflect it.
I have for a long time had a link to the ARRL web for all ARRL contests in
addition to displaying the rules.
Fact is, when I first started to build the web calendar, there were not
much info available on the web to point to!
The later problem, as stated by W4AN, is that the contest sponsor have a
tendency to change the URL for their rules pages. Which of course creates a
lot of outdated links, with no rules at all available.
To keep my site as accurate as possible, I will continue to search for the
newest version of rules for all contests, but as also SM3CER said, no
guarantees! I do my best to keep the rules updated, but as long as there is
changes, there is a chance of displaying outdated data.
Unfortunately I diden't do it from the start, but I soon started to put a
date stamp on all my files, so it should show if it is old, with the risk
of being outdated.
