Regarding certificates, I think there should remain a category of highest
achievements in our contests that are recognized honorably - with a classy,
printed certificate bearing real signatures and a gold seal. At the other end
of the spectrum - certificates recognizing participation, etc, should be
electronically mass mailed to help reduce cost. Sending out more certificates
this way might be great for the teeming masses of participants who generally
don't get anything for their efforts but a listing in six-point type.
