Hello Contesters,

here is a little list with signals strengths as written down last
weekend.
Rig was a TS870 and a ground mounted trap vertical (Fritzel GPA40).
QTH nr Munich/Germany.

Some remarks:
This year, there wasn't the usual big advantage of the New England Area.
Also stations from other parts of W/VE were strong.

Often signals strengths from the west coast follow this rule:
CA > OR > WA > VE7. This year that wasn't true, K7RI W7WA NK7U
had BIG signals on 15m. K9JF was very strong on 10m.

K9NS (every band) and K0DU (20m) were in line with the big guys from the
East. N6RO
strong as usual. W4ZV was strongest on 10m, followed by KR1G. W4ZV was
really
massive. There were also some good signals from the South, like N5YA and
KR5V.

In general, most of the stations were close together in strength.

15m was open at 3h in the morning local time. I could still hear some of
the
W7's calling CQ...

If you think your signal is not listed where it should be...

1. I worked a few guys who were obviously beaming elsewhere, because I
could hear
them working more UA0, YB etc.. than other Europeans.
2. I listened a few times to DL6RAI running stations. Those he worked
were between
S3 and S5 on average here. So if you are at S8: That's loud!

73,
Chris DL4YAO
