Acrylic..
I used acrylic in the fall for the last time...
I spray painted over acrylic and some chemical reaction
made the acrylic crack into hundreds of pieces.
I found a materia expert to explain the phenomena
so acrylic has that mechanical cracking as a feature
if exposed to some alcohols.
Use POM or teflon or whatever.
Nylon absorbs water if I understood right..
To cut plastics, I use an ironsaw or a jigsaw.
Electric jigsaw makes acrylic melt ans it can 'connect'
behind the blade with a good strength so it is a bit
challenging to do that.
Cutting in a few second intervals should keep the blade
cool enough so cutting happens about right.
