The IOTA contest takes place this weekend from 12:00 UTC
Saturday 24th July to 12:00 UTC Sunday 25th July.

It's a good opportunity to contact island stations
worldwide on both CW and SSB.

You can download SDI, a freeware custom logger for this
contest, from www.ei5di.com/sd/sdi.zip (376 kb). SDI is
a Windows text-mode program It runs on any version of
Windows and is intended for single-op unassisted
entries.

You can work anyone, but island stations count for
multipliers (and five times as many points). Full rules
at http://www.contesting.co.uk/hfcc/rules/riota.shtml.

Send and receive RST and Serial, and IOTA island stations
also give their IOTA Reference (for example NA001 or EU115).
By typing any reference in the callsign field, SDI will
tell you what the island is.

After the contest, use SDICHECK (included in SDI.ZIP) to
create your IOTA Cabrillo log, and email it as an attached
file to iota.logs@rsgbhfcc.org.

73,
Paul EI5DI
