I note the following passage from CQ WW rules.
"...The use of DX alerting assistance of any kind places you in the
single-operator, assisted class."
I would say that by requesting to be spotted, you are using DX alerting
assistance of a kind. Which makes you assisted.
Actively requesting to be spotted is different, IMHO, than being spotted
without your knowledge.
