    Yes, I have an MFJ analyzer as well and it will work just great.
1)  Set you analyzer for 14.200 Mhz
2)  Use good quality coax.   RG-8 is OK, RG-213 is better.  The better the 
coax the steeper the null
     Due to the higher 'Q' of the coax.
3)  Short the ends together.   Trim off a few inches at a time and short the 
ends.  Look at the
     Reactance value (Xs or X on the analyzer.).  When this value is 0 you 
are good to go.  Ignore
     the SWR or impedance values.   Reactance of zero is what you are after.
