Interesting story, but I suspect there is some other problem in your
system. I have installed N1MM Logger both ways - keeping the old files and
installing the new - and it has never made a bit of difference. I play
around with my computer a lot, using different OS's, contest and logging
programs and who knows what all. I have probably installed N1MM Logger a
dozen times with no problem at all.
If you think about it, the files included with the base install are the
ones it was developed with and should be more likely to work anyway. I just
go ahead and install 'em.
I am not any kind of programmer or systems expert, but I am a very
experienced user and I see mountains being made out of molehills.
