[CQ-Contest] Boom mike on cordles headphones

Hi All

In doing the CQWW SSB last weekend, I found I really miss my cordless 
'phones.

I wear hearing aids and the Heil boom headset just doesn't work all that 
well for me any more.  The RS cordless 'phones let me adjust the volume 
without having to wear the hearing aids.

Has anyone ever fastened the boom mike from the Heil to a pair of cordless 
headphones.  If so, how was it done?  Sure would make SSB contesting a whole
