A buddy of mine back in FL is interested in getting into ham radio...and
maybe into contesting. He's looking for something like a 756PRO or a Yaesu
1000
MK V. He is going to be one of the new code generals so CW is not a big
deal...no special key click mods or that sort of thing necessary.
I would like to give him a dose of ham radio comradery and make sure he
doesn't get shafted on his first buy in radio.
Is there anyone out there who has a 756 or 1000 in primo shape and wants to
get a reasonable price for it? Please, no handy-man specials. Reply off
the reflector.
