I think that this is the greatest technology advancement of the decade
for DX contesting.  Keep your flippin' skimmers and give me more mults
in WW and ARRL DX and IARU!!
 
There are many great DX stations that are silent in some contests.
Having them on more often can only help contesting.
 
Not only should we allow them to compete as if the operator was actually
there in the location (under the same rules of course) but we should
actually encourage the activity.  It's a DISADVANTAGE vs being there in
person for not only latency but just the inability to easily fix a
problem that crops up.
 
Kudos to all the people forging the way and I hope that contesters who
find themselves in less than ideal situations at their QTH will
encourage them as well so that they might someday get the chance to
operate remotely in a whole new world..
