Just a observation, if the ARRL is wanting to try real-time logging, where better to try it then a new contest? If it works great, if it doesn't then go to plan "B". Either way none of the existing contests are impacted and we end up with some new ideas and, hopefully, a bunch of new that are interested in contesting too.
