Although Northern Ontario (as defined) is by far the largest part of
Ontario in terms of land area, the population density is quite low -
well under 500,000 total. It does not include some surprising places
like North Bay and Moosonee (which is on James Bay :-).
I have never taken part in Sweepstakes before, but will be from now on,
as I believe that there are only likely to be VE3CX in Thunder Bay and
myself in Sudbury operating. Just possibly one or two more.
I'm looking forward to it!

FB Roger!
I would be surprised if Contest Club Ontario doesn't already have plans
to get all four of the new sections represented reasonably well.
If all else fails, maybe the Minnesota Wireless Association could take a
look at it. It's only a 3-hour drive from Duluth to Thunder Bay, and a
2-minute internet search provided me with plenty of cottages to rent for
a long weekend. A relatively easy expedition for those inclined to be
QRV from a new section.
I'm not too worried about it.
