I need a 4:1 CURRENT BALUN (NOT VOLTAGE BALUN) to avoid that antenna current can flow on the feeder...In the Antenna Book chapter 26 I can see a current balun but said "balanced to balanced", is it ok???... A current balun functions perfectly as an un un, provided it is a real current balun. Some baluns called current baluns are not.The balun on 26-20B in the 18th Antenna book is marginally OK. It may not work perfectly, and require additional common mode choking on the 50 ohm side. 73 Tom _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
