Dang, Jim, you're right. I stand corrected! I see that the exchange element
was referred to as "CK-RST." I'm too lazy to look to see when they went to
"Year first licensed," but it was sometime after my first SS in 1962.
I was wrong, no doubt about it, and thanks for catching it. My mind must be
going :)

Jim,
RST was a part of the exchange for years. Here is proof from the QST archive
using 1958 as an example:
