What "works" on com port settings when networking as far as the flow control

none, RTS, DTR or Xon ? and which cable do you use (3 or 7 wire? )
Carried 2nd computer this CQ WW SSB and tried to use network as backup.
Poor results with "none" and OK results with RTS but didn't seem 100%.
