One thing what would be a terrific feature of an internal CT-keyer would be 
the ability to, upon hitting the paddle, immediately interrupt what is being 
sent from the CT memory.  That can't easily be done with an external keyer.  
And, until Yaesu wises up and makes their radios capable of having BOTH a 
keyer paddle input AND a "straight-key" input at the same time, a CT keyer 
would be a wonderful addition.

At one point, I mapped out the pinouts that NA and TR use for CW key output, 
paddle inputs and PTT outputs.  I had hoped that a true "universal" CW 
interface cable would be possible...but NA and TR already differ enough to 
blow that out of the water.  So, since I already have NA-compatible CW 
cables, I hope CT goes that way!

I hope to use this CW paddle input the next time I use CT to operate the 
September CW Sprint (hint hint).
