K8CC documented this in a recent QST article (maybe it was November
2000). The software packages all use different extensions - .LOG,
.TXT, .CBR
However, if the HEADER information in the file is correct (i.e. matches
the Cabrillo spec.) then the actual extension is irrelevant.
I suggest you read the K8CC article if you have questions.
