Paul,
Use the monitor in the 850 for the DVP also.
The monitor of the DVP is the "raw" recording. The monitor on the 850 is
more like what goes on the air.
It also should sound the same as when you speak.
I only used the DVP monitor when I needed to troubleshoot or when recording
stuff.
