In a Field Day operation it is not unusual to have short power outages 
for generator refueling, repositioning of equipment or whatever. And it 
alsways happens just as you have finally got a pileup calling you. The 
computers volunteered for FD use by members are typically old laptops 
with dead batteries. On these machines Windows takes a long time to 
reboot. DOS is back up in seconds.

Not being connected to anything but our own CT network, security is not 
really an issue.
