Hello John,

thanks for your reply. This is an adapter from PCMCIA to LPT for notbooks.
Therefore a LPT interface will be allocated to the operating system.
I see an "OX12PCI840 PCI Parallel Port" under device management.
This is an integrated parallel port and pci device from Oxford
Semiconductor.

Wolf

Wolfgang,

I don't know of any way to make it work. CTWin is only capable of
sending CW with the LPT port. Maybe someone else will have a
suggestion.

N1MM Logger has several options of sending CW.

Subject: [ct-user] No CW keying with PCMCIA LPT Adapter

Hello,
after i've worked a lot of years with CT/CTWIN (LPT-CW keying)on
PC's
with Win98/W2000 i want to change to a notebook , operating system
XP, SP2.
Unfortunately the lap top has'nt a LPT-port, therefore i bought a
PCMCIA LPT
Card.
With connections to printers there are no problems, only keying with
CTWIN
it doesn't
work. Info : the address in XP-setups (device manager) is FAD8 and
not
changeable
to standard addresses i.e. 0278.Only port names are changeable
(LPT1..3).
I've tried all and i know, no other cw keyings are operable other
than via
LPT.
Do you can help me?
Thanks, Wolf - DF3CE
