Do you have the keyboard hook enabled? It must be disabled before you can
record.(Setup/Keyboard
capture)
Do you have the filepath set for the wav files you are trying to record? Take
the defaults, i.e.
C:\Program Files\Voice Keyer 1.71\sounds\msg1.wav

file says to press Shift-Fx, where Fx is the function key to record, but
