None of the three function.
Does not initialize the PCMCIA cards at all.
Loading the SG-4000 license.
When opened in the Configurator, doesn't even show PCMCIA at all - just eth.
Nor does it show "Empty PCMCIA"

Jayson,
We do a quality control check on our boards. I am concerned when you
say you have had more bad boards than you can count! Our return rate
has been VERY low (less than 1% I believe).
But to clarify- you say you bought 3 boards, but NEITHER will initialize
the cards. Does that mean ONE board did?
What software have you loaded on the units?
I take it you can bring up the software image in the configurator- Does
it even SHOW a PCMCIA interface? Does it show it as a wireless card?
Kevin

Subject: [Karlnet] KN-100 problems?
Hi,
We have three KN-100 boards purchased from two different distributors
over
the past two weeks.
Neither of which initialize the cards in the slot (tried Lucent Silver,
Orinoco Silver, YDI Sapphire).
When we login w/ the Configurator all it shows is an Ethernet interface.
Looks like it doesn't even see PCMCIA.
Tested all these cards in a KN-200 we have, they all work fine - not the
cards.
Changed the jumper from 3.3V to 5V - that's not the problem.
Done a reload on all boards numerous times - again, not the problem.
Anyone else having these problems? Bad batch of KN-100 boards. again?
Don't they run ANY of these through ANY sort of QC? I can't count the
number of boards we've received DOA.
Anyone's input is greatly appreciated as KN is out until Monday I'm sure
(and we need a board for Monday morning!)
