Here is what I like to do....
NOT LISTEN TO MYSELF TRANSMITTING....
I do not feel I have to hear that the computer is accurately keying the
rig...but I like to know it is in the act...by engaging the sidetone on the
computer - usually under the desk you can tell cw is being sent but it isn't
"in your ears"
Why is this important?
I like to do sgl op 2 radio, in other words if I do not need the distraction
of the sidetone from the rig why add it to my scrambled brain!
That is why I hope to enable the sidetone...I suspect it may be a fried
speaker...but...by next contest I will have a code practice oscillator in
paralleled with the xcvr's keying line!
