Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2022 Jul 01 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The three numbered regions were all in decay and inactive. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low with a chance for C-class flares on 01 - 03 Jul.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels on 01 - 03 Jul due to HSS influence. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of nominal conditions. Solar wind speeds steadily decreased from around 400 km/s to near 350 km/s. Total field strength peaked at 5 nT and the Bz component, while variable, did not undergo any significant north-south deviations. Phi was mostly oriented in a negative solar sector.

Forecast: Ambient conditions are expected in the solar wind 01-03 Jul. Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to remain quiet 01-03 Jul.
