Ford uses a variable high voltage ignitor that radiates enough HF RF to be 
heard in Europe. No cure other than to shield the ignitor in copper roof 
flashing. Ford is well known for its RF radiating fuel pumps and many of 
their vehicles use two pumps.

Isuzu and Toyota make very quiet engines for HF operators.

VW diesels are also very quiet.
