Recently I got a small USB hub to use with this computer.
Several days later I was tuning around 160mtrs and came across a tremendous
noise.
I used a MFJ noise sniffer and ran it down to the hub that uses a small
wart.
It is a rectangle...taller than wide with the wire coming out the bottom.
I took it apart to look it over and found some really poor workmanship and
noticed provision for components that were not installed.
I knew what that meant so I destroyed it and threw it out.
Funny how the noise went away suddenly....hmff

Interesting about LF EMC, but no info on the new switching supplies.

I have done no serious tests, but so far have not seen any issues with
the new generation mini-switching wall-warts -- and they are really
proliferating around here.
