>From what I've read, it's not the LED. It's the switching power supply. I
have LEDs in the shack. I run them from a conventional (not switcher) 12vdc
wall wart. I don't hear them.

Subject: [RFI] LED light-bulbs and RFI
I have been reading reports in QST that there is RFI emanating from
LED....somethings... but it is not clear to me what those are.
I have recently installed several LED light-bulbs here, and, as far as I can
tell at this point, have not noticed any increase in local RFI.
Will someone please fill me in on some details about this LED RFI that is
being mentioned in QST?
Perhaps I am simply not recognizing the noise, but I have been battling RFI
for the past several years from many other sources, and THOUGHT I knew what
to look for.
FYI, I have run across a strong, steady carrier on 7272 kHz which is coming
from the computer sitting on my operating bench. I shut the computer down
when I want to operate there.
