Thanks everyone for your help. This is a dimmer switch in my own home that has
not caused any RFI problems to this point. When I got up in the middle of the
night, I noticed the lamp suddenly was very low, instead of off. Normally when
the switch is off the lamp is off. So, we need to replace the switch in our
home. No problem from neighbors.

I’ll pick up a Lutron dimmer switch and hopefully that solves the problem.

Thanks again, everyone!

I use Lutron dimmers all over the house with LED and incandescent and have not
noticed any RFI.

I checked and LED’s can be used, but they still would like to dim the lights.
Does this mean any dimmer switch can be used with LED’s or is there a
recommended dimmer to use?

Ross, I have found that using LED lamps minimized the RFI caused by a dimmer
that
was noisy with a regular bulb.

Of course, not all installations are equal, therefore, YMMV.

What is the current make and brand of dimmer switches recommended that are

Thank you.
