Hi Jim. Do you recommend the 2.4 inch OD or the larger 4 inch OD
ferrite core for the portable gens?
I would think that the 4 inch OD would be a heck of a lot easier to
work with. Do you gain more suppression with the 4 inch over the 2.4
inch?

 On page 23 of this link is a filter that I designed and W6GJB built
for
 our HF county expeditions for 7QP and CQP. It's designed to be
effective
 from 80M to 10M. It was added to the ARRL Handbook several years ago.
