Isn't that what happens already - or were you thinking of something
else?

I use a text editor (not a word processor) in these circumstances to edit
the ADIF file directly.  The editor will add the ADIF power tag and value,
using a single keystroke, to the end of each QSO record in the .ADI file.

My text editor is a DOS-based program called Brief, but it's no longer
available.  Can anyone recommend an alternative?
