The YO DX Contest takes place from 1200 UTC Saturday 26th August to
1159 UTC Sunday 27th August.

Rules at http://www.radioamator.ro/contest/us/yodxhf2006rules.html

SD supports SO entries in this contest. It runs on any Windows PC
and is free from www.ei5di.com/sd/sdsetup.exe

The SO categories are

. Cat. A - single operator single band
               (SOSB10, SOSB15, SOSB20, SOSB40, SOSB80)
. Cat. B - single operator multi band
               (SOMB)

Select SD's "YO DX" template

Note that SD's template file QYODX.TPL is set up incorrectly for
the "Non-Area QSOs count as mults" parameter. Either edit this
to Y before starting SD, or download the latest template files
from www.ei5di.com/sd/template.zip

Work everyone on the 5 contest bands from 80m to 10m.
Send & receive 59(9) + serial. YOs send their county code
instead of a serial. It's a mixed-mode event, but there's
nothing to stop single-mode entries.

After the contest, use SDCHECK to create your Cabrillo .LOG file.
You must then manually edit the CATEGORY: Cabrillo header record
to specify your section as SOMB or SOSB20 etc. as listed above -
otherwise your entry will be classified as MO.

Email your log, as an attached file, to yodxhf@yahoo.com

73,
Paul EI5DI
