Thanks Paul for the offer but I am very glad to say that it won't be
necessary. I went to do as you requested and found that I could now open the
.ALL file. Therefore I tried SDCHECK which now worked and I have just
completed my entry. I thought the gremlins had got into the shack as I had
equipment problems on the night too. Now you work by remote control!!!
Thanks again for your help and BTW I found my battery had failed, not just
low, and it seems the rest overnight allowed the laptop to heal itself.
