This has raised an interesting issue. Neither SD (nor
any applications supporting WinKey), send dots or dashes
to WinKey - they send plain text ASCII characters which
WinKey then converts into the corresponding CW.
SD does send dots and dashes when its internal keyer is
active, but not when WinKey is enabled.
I'd recommend downloading WKdemo from k1el.com, it should
help to resolve the problem (available from the "Software"
link).
