The FOC QSO Party takes place on Saturday 22nd March -
all day, 0000 - 2359. It is CW-only on the 6 HF contest
bands, 15-40kHz up from the band edges.

Rules at http://g4foc.org/Default.aspx?pageId=1440151

This is a QSO Party, and not a contest. Everyone
is welcome, members and non-members alike, and
there's no need to send in a log - simply report
your QSO totals shown in SD's Score Window.

SD V17.30 is free from www.ei5di.com

Select the "FOC QSO Party" template.

FOC members work everyone. Others work FOC members
only - the ones giving a number as well as their
name. If you're not a member, just give your name.
Call CQBW - the BW stands for Bill Windle G8VG (SK),
after whom this event used to be named.

SD prefills the exchange (Name & FOC Number) when
a member's call is typed, and tracks members and
non-members worked by band.

If you hear and type a membership number (instead
of a callsign), SD displays the callsign and name,
and dupe-checks the QSO. If it's not a dupe, Enter
moves the call to the callsign field and, again,
pre-fills the exchange.

When using SD to send exchanges, whether directly
or with WinKey, use Shift-F2 to update SD's exchange
with your Name, or Name and Number as appropriate.

Send a brief note to kz5d@aol.com with your QSO
totals - members and non-members by band. Again,
these are shown in SD's Score Window. There's
no need to create or submit a Cabrillo log,

73,
Paul EI5DI
