Good morning to all

How do I change the MODE in a previously logged qso? There is no “Mode” field
to edit, at least not in the “DXpedition Logging Template”.

For my activity with II7FOC, I am using the “DXpedition Logging” template,
which must be a MIXED MODE one (*). At a certain moment, looking at the logged
qsos I found that in the RST field of the last one there was a 59 instead of
599, and the MODE indicator in the input field was now SSB instead of CW. A
few stations where still calling, but I did not remember how to change mode so
I worked and logged them in SSB mode, thinking to edit those records later
(Probably, while trying to hastily correct and then delete a call, an “S” was
inadvertently left in the call field, changing the mode).

The CW this time is manually produced, no WinKey, and I never used any CAT.

The Manual did not help in this case, so the only way I could find has been to
open and edit manually the .ALL and .AUD files, of course keeping the fields
well aligned vertically. All OK, but I am curious to know whether there is a
quicker way.

Ciao,

Sandro, I7ALE (II7FOC)

(*) From the manual: “In mixed-mode events, use the C (CW) or S (SSB) commands
to change mode”
