When there was a parallel port in the computers, I did not have a printer.
Later, with a printer in my shack, there was no more parallel port in my PC.
So I will not miss that feature in SD !

SD supports internal CW keying via serial ports (with or without a
USB-Serial converter), and via parallel/printer ports.
It's over 20 years since I last saw a PC with a parallel/printer port,
so I intend to remove support for this.
