The bottom half (approximately) of each element of Bill's 4-square is Rohn 
25, and the rest is a stinger (aluminum tube) that goes up to whatever 
height is needed for resonance.

Similarly, the Ham Sticks I use for mobile operating consist of a coiled 
lower section and an upper stinger that is adjusted for resonance.

I had forgotten that Bill talks about his 4-square on his web site.  Take a
