Comments:
I had a great time working the NAQP CW. This is my first NAQP, so another
new
experience for me. This was also a bit of a landmark for me, because I
averaged
about 3 min/QSO. To some, that may seem terrible, but it was a new record
for
me, as I usually average about 5 min/QSO. For only 2.5 hours of operating, I
feel like I did pretty well.
20m was the source of most of my contacts, but I wish I had switched to 40
sooner. I waited until the band was dead to switch, which was a bad
decision.
50 percent of my 20m contacts were from either CO or CA. I was also
astounded
at how many there were with the name "Ken." "Ken" definitely wins the award
for
being the name that I worked the most.
I can feel my CW S&P skills improving, and I cannot wait for the next CW
contest (there are too few of them.)
