Hi All...I don't know if you know it or not, but the ARRL and it's
contest advisory committee (CAC) is considering changing the rule for
scoring it it's ARRL DX contest to a distance based system....nothing
could be more fair and could level the playing field. I encourage each
and every one of you to GET INVOLVED in this...cqw-contest is just
starting up and
the New England and Caribbean stations are the ones most
against...this is for one SELFISH reason...they have been winning with
a distinct advantage. and now the wrongs can be set right...there are
240+ members of this club and I expect you all to join in with a loud
voice... for once the scoring can be adjusted using a distance based
system to level the playing field...Mark W4SVO has also been vocal in
this....Mark and I stand united in our voice.....this injustice needs
to be righted!!!
