As far as the number of members, that number is somewhat inflated. The
number of active folks has always been much less than the total number on
the roster...folks aren't regularly removed AFAIK when they move away, lose
interes, or die.
Further, it appears that most of the active Georgia-based SECC folks have
abandoned the SECC in favor of a new club, which was fairly active in the
CW NAQP team-wise, I believe.
There was an SECC team for the NAQP-CW - I wasn't on it, as I participated
on another team comprised of other ATS owners, which we did to showcase
those radios. That's one of the things I enjoy about the NCJ contests
actually: the lack of geographical restrictions in forming teams...I've
been on teams in the past that were scattered all over the country...this
NAQP included. There's not a club competition in those contests *per se*.
Were you on the SECC team?
