Comments:
Great to see 10 open. Figured it would close after a single short opening,
but
checked back a few times and someone always there at the start. Had
several runs. Rate meter stayed around 160 for awhile a couple of times.
Not bad for this small station. A couple EU called in to and were almost as
loud as many stateside. Think I was using the loop at the time so that
surprised me.
Got started in time to do a full 10 hours, but health issues slowed me down
and eventually made me drop out after 4 hours. Sorry to SECC#2 for that.
Thought I would be able to stay the full time.
Found a high SWR on the Bencher Skyhawk. That cost me a few dB. Think
maybe after all the water we've had here in SC the last few weeks that I
might have sprung a leak somewhere in the feed line. Have to look into
that when my shoulder gets better. At least I hope that is the cause and
not something more serious.
The TS590 is a very good CW rig.
