It will also (under windows) allow you to build a loopback plug
for your COM port and you would only need one computer to do
the telent -> logging. The telnet program and TR (or other logging
software) would share the same COM port. The telnet spits out the
data on the port and the loopback plug sends it to TR and vice versa.
Seems pretty neat.
