Below is a link to a schematic of an optically isolated interface to key
the MFJ-434 Digital Voice keyer from TRlog (via LPT):

Here are the bare-bones necessary logcfg.dat commands to make the DVK
memories 1 and 4 work in the CQ mode like CW memories do.
----------------------------------
DVK PORT = 1
CQ MENU = F1=SHORT CQ F2=SHORT CQ F3=SHORT CQ F4=TNX AE0Q F10=STOP
CQ MEMORY F1 = DVK1
CQ MEMORY F2 = DVK2
CQ MEMORY F3 = DVK3
CQ MEMORY F4 = DVK4
CQ MEMORY F10 = DVK0
QSL SSB MESSAGE = DVK4
----------------------------------
It sends the F4 memory when you hit ENTER the 2nd time to log a QSO in the
CQ mode (Ctrl-ENTER logs without sending the F4 memory).
I haven't played with the other memories much, if anyone comes up with some
of the exchange memory commands that work usefully (using F2 and F3
memories) please post them to the list!
