For as long as I can remember, the program tries to indicate to the
operator that the rig has been tuned beyond the band edge by extinguishing the band/QSO/mult info at the top of the screen. On the traditional bands, it did this 10 kc too late, but was okay on the WARC bands. It seems not to do anything at the band edge or 10 kc beyond it on the WARC bands now, so is either fully broken or has been abandoned. I find the reinforcement of having strayed too far helpful whilst sleep operating, especially with the radios being in my peripheral vision & that summary info smack dab where my eyes would be aimed should the eyelids manage to open. ;^) 73, VR2BrettGraham _______________________________________________ Trlog mailing list Trlog@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/trlog |
