The G4PKT  DET MOD is not recommended by TEN-TEC.

Try adding a .01 ceramic cap across C-3 on the Low Level Driver / Noise
Blanker
Bd  to help stop the QSK pop.  You may also need to change Q-13 on the
Control
Bd from a MPS 6514 to a 2N 4124
